What They Are:

Missions are objectives that a player can complete for a number of rewards, for example, extra Experience Points, GP, items, or even new Jobs for a character. The mission inventory, where missions are stored, appears in the top-right corner of the screen, signified by a scroll icon. Clicking on the scroll will result in a drop-down menu from which you can identify and receive more detailed information about a certain mission.

Types Of Missions:

New Level Missions: These missions appear in a character's mission inventory when a new level is earned, or when a mission previously gained by a new level is completed, resulting in another objective. The rewards from these missions can result in a number of things, ranging from extra Experience Points to new items for a character.
Currently the limit of "New Level" Missions will go up to 46.

Completion Missions: These missions appear in a character's mission inventory after a player has completed a certain mission, for example, the three-part mission assignments for unlocking a 4th Job for a character. Usually it entails participating in PvP combat, or collecting items from specified dungeons. Be careful, if you delete a mission that leads to a "Completion" Mission, then you wont get the next part.

Dungeon Missions: These missions are received by killing monsters in dungeons, and can be picked up by moving over them. They appear in a player's inventory after the dungeon is finished, and usually rewards players with common items, such as potions.

Character Missions: These missions are bought in the Shop, under the Academy Tab. They can be purchased with either GP or Cash points, and are used to unlock extra characters to join the Grand Chase expedition. The missions purchased with Cash points are substantially easier.

New Job Missions: These missions are bought in the Shop, under the Academy Tab. They can be purchased with either GP or Cash points, and are used to unlock new Jobs for your existing characters. The missions purchased with Cash points are substantially easier. Currently, the highest number of jobs for a character is four, including the starting profession. WARNING!!!!: If you accidentally delete the other 2 parts of a 4th Job Mission, then it will not let you register the re-bought scroll. You will have to send a 1:1 Support, and start over.

Event Missions: These missions are given out during specified events hosted by nTreev, usually received by players upon logging into a server. The rewards given out by these missions can result in a number of things, ranging from new accessories to extra sets of armor for your characters.
